Greater Bay Area International Institute for Innovations
GBA I3 is an open platform to facilitate international and multi-sector collaborations on knowledge transfer and entrepreneurship.
Jointly initiated by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) and Shenzhen University (SZU) in July 2018, GBA I3 aims to join hands with global partners to develop innovation and technology talents through open innovation, education programmes, and related start-up supports.
With the mission of “Forging Technopreneurs for the Future”, GBA I3 is dedicated to:
- nurturing deep-tech entrepreneurs with world-class facilities and infrastructures;
- providing an international landing platform for overseas partners from the academic, private and public sectors; and
- supporting global talents to translate academic research outcomes / technologies into real-world impact through start-up and open innovation.
